Local Attractions attend "Meet the Editor"

On Tuesday, June 26th at Holiday Inn Fort Rapids in Columbus, area attractions were given the opportunity to meet with top editors from several publications to find out what it takes to get their attention. Top editors from Midwest Living, Ohio Magazine, Long Weekends, AAA’s Home & Away, the Ohio News Network and Akron Beacon Journal/Ohio.com attended the event. The day, which was presented by the Ohio Travel Association began with a panel discussion followed by a question and answer session. Few were given the chance to "pitch" their attractions. Those attending from our area included, Patricia Irvin owner and operator of the Colonel Taylor Inn B&B, Toni Kellar of the Wilds, and Shauna Hearing of the Cambridge/Guernsey County Visitors & Convention Bureau.
