Fred Deel speaks to Ohio's Appalachian Country
New director of the Governor's Office of Appalachia, Fred Deel, was the keynote speaker at Ohio's Appalachian Country's recent quarterly meeting in Salem. Timberlanes Inn and Restaurant along with Columbiana County Tourism partners hosted the event. Tiffany Gerber, president of OAC, welcomed representatives from the 29 Ohio Appalachian counties who were in attendance.
OAC was recently named a recipient of funds from the GOA to be used for marketing the 29 county consortium which serves to promote the rich heritage and culture of the Appalachian counties as a destination for Travel and Tourism.
